compounding of offence

I have a case of 499 i.p.c.(defamation). Both parties ready to compound.
Of the 5 accused, 2 accused appeared once and stopped appearing. Their addresses changed.I am taking warrents against them, but of no use.
In such case, can a compounding purshis be filed. How to go ahead ?

1.YOU MAY FILE A DISCHARGE APPLICATION IN THE COURT FOR DISCHARGING YOU FROM THE CASE .COURT WILL CALL SAY OF OTHER SIDE. IN CASE THE OTHER SIDE GIVES NO OBJECTION COURT MAY DISCHARGE THE ACCUSED.
2.ALTERNATELY SUBMIT AN APPLICATION FOR SEPERATING THE TRIAL AND THEN THE COMPLAINENT CAN WITH THE HELP OF HIS LAWYER CAN HELP THE ACCUSED ACQUITED.(HISTILE WITNESS).
3 ACCUSED CAN FILE A WRIT PETITION IN THE HIGH COURT FOR QUASHING THE COMPLAINT AND COMPLAINENT CAN SUBMIT HIS NO OBJECTION AND AGREE FOR COMPOUNDING
THE MATTER AGAINST THE SAID ACCUSED.

As per my view it is not compoundable. You can file discharge petition or quash petition.
