Our sugar unit is supplying mollasses of Season 2015-16 to our distillery unit for supply of ethanol to Oil Marketing Companies.Both sugar unit & distillery units have separate registration under Central Excise.Is the Sugar unit liable to pay excise duty @Rs.75/qtl.before transfer of mollasses to distillery unit.Please clarify

Being a separate unit you have to charges excise duty before removal of molasses from your factory.
