hello everyone,
i have registered an FIR and the sec is IPC U/S 341/325/427 and 34 so when is police going to take the steps and howw much time will the case take as police didnt done anything till 3rd day of FIR.please help me what i have to do further

Immediately after preparing F.I.R the police has to visit the spot and prepare Mahazar or spot inspection. Within 24 hours they have to send the FIR to jurisdictional J.M.F.C court. Then within 90 days they have to file the detailed charge sheet is to be sent.

If the police has failed to do their duty as above, you can file a private complaint before the jurisdictional JMFC directly.

Thanks for your suggestions but sir yesterday i went to police station and the inspecting officer told me that the opposition lawyer had come to see the matter and when i asked IO why you didnt go to search that people he replied me that it was of no use to go there and bring them if i will do so later on there lawyer would take bail so what i have to do i am quite confused and nervous
