Sir please guide on the following case. Few women barged inside my house in my absence and extracted Rs 1500 from my wife by hypnotising her. A group of four ladies was tracked and handed over to the nearest Police. SHO has arrested only two after logging an FIR under Beggar Act. The balanced two were let off due to being pregnant. These ladies duped a number of other household ladies over a number of days in the city. Please confirm the section under which these have been charged is correct and adequate to sustain.

they can be prosecuted under section 415/420 of Ipc, apart from this its depend on the complainant allegations

Yes as rightly stated above.
The slapping of charges is the duty of police not yours.

Agree, police is to investigate and decide under which section culprit is to be charged and not the complainant.
