Divorce-13b

(Querist) 20 February 2015 This query is : Resolved
Sir,

Please guide me,

1) From which date, 6 months will be counted, either on the presentation of first motion petition in the Court or on order/statements recorded for first motion.

2) If first motion has already been completed on the basis of mediation by mediation centre and after that I don't want divorce. Then, will I do so?
Nadeem Qureshi (Expert) 20 February 2015
Six month period will be start from the date of filing the first motion before family court.

if you are not ready to follow the mediation settlement then the opposite party may file a contempt complaint against you.

but nobody can force to you
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 20 February 2015
It is upto you to decide about giving her the consent for divorce or maintain the consent in the second motion too or withdraw your consent. There is no force on you to continue it.
Rajendra K Goyal (Expert) 23 February 2015
Agree with expert Nadeem Qureshi.
