Hello sir my name is deepak dubey. I am from faridabad. Actually iwant to know what the legal proceedings when my wife dont want to come at my home and want divorse. Matter is that by qualification i am Btech in computer science but by luck or by my negeligency unable to hold a good job. Moreover i have too bad habits like drinking or betting. My wife family give me more chance to improve yourself but still i do many blunders that i am very feeling guilty right now. But they dont agree that how they beleive i feeling guilty and nvr do it again in future. I want last and final chance but they want in written. My wife not agreed to come i dont know why she said like that. So please tell me what i hv to do in that situation.

You have all the qualities of a good husband except negligent habit of not engaging a lawyer. Do engage a qualified lawyer and he will guide you that how there can be restitution of conjugal life.

If you are ready to accept their demand and sure you would leave your bad habits, you can give in writing after consulting with your lawyer. It would satisfy their ego and there are possibilities your marriage is saved.

Time and tide wait for none, you have already exhausted opportunities, no alternative except to persuade your wife through her mother/father or common relative giving reliable assurance against recurrence, if the tactics may work.

One day I read my online friends article ,never met him but just routinely read about human psychological behaviour . It is interesting.

Gambling is actually psychological disease and it eventually take form of compulsive gambling which you can not stop without proper aid.

Regarding alcohol also same problem after some stage brain get addicted after specific level and without medical help not possible to come out.

You leaving job too may be some sign which I can not make out because psychological or psychiatric is not my field .

Your problem can be solved in 2 ways . You need professional help for stoping gambling , alcohol and behaviour control. At same time you need help under marriage act legally . And most important extra efforts both husband and wife require to put to make marriage normal with husband contribution 75 % and 25 % by wife.
