CAN A GPA HOLDER FILE A CIVIL SUIT IN HIS OWN NAME?
IN CASE OF PROPERTY MATTERS
JUDGEMENT OR LAW FOR SAME
Ms.Usha Kapoor (Expert) 11 August 2017
A POA can't file a civil suit in his own name even in respect of property matters as he cannot go beyond the precincts of his authority conferred on him by the principal. It would be unauthorized and illegal sale.

A POA holder can file a case in the name of the Principal only, not in his own name until he gets the title after transferring the property in his own name.

please provide me the same

Mr. Mukund,

You have been appropriately guided.

However, if you don't believe statements of the experts, you may consult some local lawyer, whom you may trust. Academic exercises are not preferred to be solved here. Otherwise you can test the statements of the experts by gaining experience by yourself by filing a case in the court of law.

You have nowhere stated that are facing any sort of problem about GPA.

Mr PS Dhingra

With due respect i was just asking for a backing to the statement of the experts. there is nothing like i don't trust them. I am myself a law student so i was just trying to get a justification for my doubt.

Sorry if my words offended you but i don't think i have done something that made you say so.
