Can photographs of wife be filed with reply/rejoinder in a matrimonial matter? Relevant caselaws please!
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 30 June 2025
What photos of your wife are you trying to attach in reply/rejoinder?
Is it necessary to attach the photos at this early stage?
Without knowing some background details any opinion rendered in this regard may be a misguidance

Wife has alleged cruelty against husband and in-laws. Can photos of her enjoying happy married life/moments be filed to counter her allegations?
Dr. J C Vashista (Expert) 30 June 2025
You will have to seek services of a local prudent lawyer for proper analyses of facts and circumstance of the case, professional advise and necessary proceeding which cannot be presumed / generalised on the basis of limited facts posted by you.

Sincere thanks to Mr. Kalaiselvan and Dr. Vashista for their replies.

Can someone please provide reference to any caselaw touching upon submission of photos in matrimonial matters (divorce, DV, etc). Thanks in advance!
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 01 July 2025
The photos of wife enjoying the married life happily are some good piece of evidence to prove tht she was not subjected to any cruelty as falsely alleged by her.
It depends on how you extract the truth from her mouth during cross examination by producing the said photographs before her and getting it marked through her itself as exhibits on the side of the respondent
