Date of birth correction on passport

(Querist) 13 March 2013 This query is : Resolved 
I need to correct my mothers DOB on her Indian Passport. I have her Birth Certificate issued by the Civil Registrar and the School Bonafide Certificate, both containing the correct DOB. Are both these certificates sufficient to correct the DOB on the passport?
