Please let me know the value of court fee payable for filing suit for the property in Chennai.
Market value of Property: Rs.3 Cr.
Location: Chennai - T Nagar.
What basis it is computed.

Dear Sir,
Actually property is of my friend's family.. who is the owner of the property and enjoying the property (possession and rights having) for more than 25 years.. in one of the case filed by the real estate promoter his advocate (friend's) informed him that he has to file one suit, for which he may need to pay court fee of around Rs.30 Lakh..
Could you please provide me the relevant provisions / percentage of fee payable in this regard, to communicate to my friend.
