What is commercial purpose under Consumer Protection Act?

IS a complaint by a hospital against a Scan machine company for supply of one scan machine - deficiency in installation - is commercial purpose?

Yes definitely it is commercial purpose unless the hospital exclusively runs for charitable purposes and does not charge the patients.

No. It is not commercial purpose. It is deficiency triable under CPA.
It will be commercial purpose if the party does business of scan machines i.e. buy, sell or repairs to the scan machines.
