Co op housing society transfer premium

(Querist) 06 August 2022 This query is : Resolved
We have some companies like MTNL, BMC & RIL as share/flat holders in our society. Are they required to pay move in / out charges each time their employee occupying flat changes?
Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies the difference between transfer premiums and move-in/out charges in co-operative housing societies. While transfer premiums are a fixed percentage (2.5% up to £25,000), the query specifically addresses whether corporate entities like MTNL, BMC, and RIL, who hold shares or flats, need to pay move-in/out charges when their employees occupying the flats change. The consensus is that these charges are distinct from transfer premiums and may apply.

What is your problem? You previously asked the same changing the heading of the query. Transfer charges are separate. The transfer charge is Rs.2.5% and a maximum of Rs.25,000/-.
