Claim for Title & Ownership of Land

Dear Sir/s,

After two generations beginning 1930, we came to know recently a piece of ancestral land belonging to our fore-fathers who cultivated for many years and left the place for good.

Fortunately, the land is still lying vacant and incorporated into municipal limits from panchayat few years ago.

Names of our fore-fathers had been confirmed with revenue land records.

Please suggest the means/method to claim our ancestral land by the family members who are legal heirs in the absence of any record available.

If it is lying vacant and in no body;s possession then you simply go and take formal possession of it.
Nothing special needs to be done .

You may file a declaration suit for your ownership before court of law..
