only the documents which have been proved on record can be read into evidence, the ones which have been marked can not be relied upon.

Every basic law has also been defined by different courts from time to time and as parkash opined, the matter has well been taken up in madra High Court in a similar case.

No citation of law is required because the law is reffered at the time of pleading the case and if the case is based on any particular judgement the citation of case law is required.
