pl visit any institution offering 5 years LL.B. But if you are an employee( Govt or non govt), you should have proper permission from the competent authority.

Mr. Parthaprotim,

A doctor's degree is a graduate degree. I don't think he needs to undergo 5 years integrated course.

Dear Sumir,

Are you running a private clinic, as a doctor, or employed in some hospital, nursing home, etc.?

Also whether you are MBBS or BAMS doctor, or an Homoeopath with Degree in Homoeopath?

A doctor can do LL B 3 year course if his medical degree is recognised as a graduate degree by the rules of BCI
R.Ramachandran (Expert) 02 June 2011
A Doctor can definitely pursue 3 year LL.B. Course.
However, he cannot pursue 5 year integrated LL.B. Course for the simple reason, he might have already crossed the maximum age limitof 21 years for admission to Integrated Course.

You can join a regular BL/LLB 3 year course, if you are within the age limit. If you are employed, you have to leave the employment, to join Law course.

You can join the LLB course. But, you can choose either medical or legal profession for practicing.

Unless you want to practice as a lawyer there is no point in doing LL B.Better you study law books and debate with lawyer known to you, you will emerge as a good law knowing citizen.

Dear Doctor, I welcom you to the legal profession, if you feel that is your vocation. I have a friend, who after passing BE in Bangalore, went to UK and took MS in architectural engineering, later studied law in Bangalore and took LLB, then went to London became a Barrister and later took Doctorate in Intellectual Property Rights abroad. He is one of the best in India, in IPR and copy right matters.
