Career in legal side

Dear sir,

I have completed my B.L in 1999. Some of the circumstances i dint practice as advocate and in legal side. Now i am working in pvt ltd company in sales tax dept.

Now my request is which is correct path to develop my career and is there any examinations to utilize my degree in legal side or suppose if i start practice now then is there any development will be available or not

Please guide to me . Now my age is 38

though choice is yours, it is better to continue in ur present job.
