Respected Sirs,
I am confused on what the Limitation is for a daughter to claim Rights on her share in Father's share upon his death in a Coparcenery property in Mumbai.
In a recent judgement Ms Roshan Dalvi had quoted as under -
Paresh Damodardas Mahant … Plaintiff
Vs.
Arun Damodardas Mahant & 3 ors.
31. This Court is only concerned with whether the suit is
barred by the Law of Limitation. If the plaintiff claims as an heir and
legal representatives of his deceased father, suit property would
devolve under Section 6 of the HSA by succession and not by
survivorship, the devolution would be complete on the date of the
death of the father. The right to sue any of the heirs and legal
representatives of the father would accrue on the date of the death of
the father. Hence within three years from such date a suit for
administration of the estate of the deceased upon such succession
would have to be filed.
Can any of the Legal Pundit clarify on this and throw more light? Many Thanks.

Dear Sirs,
Following are the facts of the case:
I want to exchange my flat with another member.
My flat's area is 540 sq.ft.(60.22sq.mtr.),on 4th flr.
Another flat's area is 386 sq.ft.(43.05 sq.mtr.) on 5th flr.
CTS No. 1727B Zone: 89/412
As area both flats are not equal, there will be monetary consideration also to the extent of Rs.10 Lacs.
Kindly advice the amount on which stamp duty shall be payable. Pls give working, if possible.
As there will be only one original copy of registered exchange deed which will be with owner of flat whose area is more. What can be done if other party also want original copy of exchange deed as he might face difficulty at the time of further sale.
Kindly advice. Thanks & Best Regards.

Dear Sir
Maharashtra Government has announced its decision to exempt business organizations having turnover below Rs. 50 Cores from the levy of LBT , from 01st August 2015 onwards.
The newly introduced exemption is turnover based.
The company is having its registered office in Pune within Pune Municipal Corporation ( PMC ) limit.
All its Business (Manufacturing Plant ) is outside PMC area.
Address on both MVAT Certificate & LBT Registration certificate is that of Corporate office.
Before 01.08.2015, the company was paying LBT on purchases for our Corporate office.
No LBT was paid for purchases for plant as they are situated outside PMC.
Currently purchases for Corporate office are below Rs.50 cr.
Sale invoice are raised from respective plant situated outside PMC area.
There is no sale from Corporate Office.
Turnover of company for Maharashtra ( under MVAT ) is more than Rs.50 cr.
Sir , Can anybody please let me know whether co. is liable to pay LBT.
