if any person pay half amount for purchase of a house and before making full payment and registry the house was burnt now what will be legal consequence.

time limit for police to file charge sheet
respected sir,
a fir was registered under section 452,324,325 on 7th may 2010.police have completed all its investegation but they are not filling the chargesheet against the acused till 6th oct.i want to know 'is there any time limit to file chargesheet?' iwant to know will this delay help the accused?
