please guide me on the revised wages rates in karnataka w.e.f 01/04/2011. Because there is a change in the wages rates.

One Company Gave me one contract(about 3 lakhs) , as security I gave my Voter ID card and Pan card photo copy along with One Blank Cheque(without date but singed by me) in sept 2010. I finished 75% of the work but I could not complete the rest of work due to funds.Now company is putting recovery on me around 3.5 lakhs. But mine 1.50 lakhs are pendind with the company. I am in a deep trouble. Please suggest me.

If any employee is working in Rajasthan under vendor (contractor) principal employeer is telecom infrastructure company which is construct mobile tower and service provide to telecom operators. Which minimum wages will applicable? Rajasthan Minimum wages otherwise centeral minimum wages. Kindly guide

Our Employee who left the job without notice, has filed a complaint against us for not giving his dues.
We visited the Labour Inpector and stated that all dues were duly paid, except the last month.
Inspector got satisfied but told us that we have to pay the Gratuity for 10 years he had worked for us.
We said that since we had only 3-4 employees during the 10 years of his service and Gratuity do not apply here.
Then he said that, "No No its some thing like workman compensation, given to him at the time of retirement. This amounts for 15 days salary (last given) for every year worked"
Otherwise he is threatening to forward the matter to Labour Court.
But I had never heard such thing. Kindly guide me please.

WHAT BENEFITS IN RESPECT OF PAY PROTECTION IS ADMISSIBLE TO HIM AFTER TECHNICAL RESIGNATION FROM A POST CARRYING LOWER GRADE PAY TO THE POST CARRYING HIGHER GRADE PAY, IF HIS PAST SERVICE HAS BEEN COUNTED UNDER CCS PENSION RULE 26(2) FOR THE PURPOSE OF PAY FIXATION, CARRY FORWARD OF LEAVE, PENSION ETC.

Hello sir
I am class-2 officer in govt of gujarat and i am on my probation period for 2 years.
2 months back i was arrested by police for drinking alcohol at my friends home and they have filed case under section 66(1)(b) after my duty hours at about 8 pm and i was custodial for 19 hours after that i was bailed. my question is that govt have any power to terminate my service? I was selected by Gujarat Public service commission. can i petition in hon'ble gujarat high court for stay orders? how can i get stay orders from gujarat high court. can you please answer my question? thanks

I took 1 contract as a sub contractor and I have given one blank cheque(without sing). Unfortunately one controvercial move occured and I had to took step back from the contract.
Now company is going to encash the cheque and there is no balane in my account. Please help me what should I do.

Applicability of minimum wages
Dear Team,
If establishment (principal employer) i.e Telecom Company have got licence from central govt then which minimum wage applicable on his contract labour. State otherwise centeral?
