Hi, I'm posting this for my friend who had some health issues and was on leave, currently the company where he is working from last 10 years is asking him to leave as there are no projects for him.
The person had undergone craniectomy both left & right brains followed by multiple bleeds in the brain due to fever and platelets going down in the month of June 2016. Once the Edema of the brain came down, cranioplasty was done in Aug 2016..but since the bone got infected we had to remove it in Feb 2017 and replaced it with mesh covering the brain last September 2017.
Meanwhile his company just paid us Rs 5 lakhs ie the insurance what the family of 5 members was eligible for. He also got the salary for June 2016 as he had leaves accumulated & as a good gesture he got salary for next two months aswell, later his company stopped paying him.
Since he was still undergoing treatment & was only bread earner for a 5 member family we needed help financially and wrote to the company requesting for help and hence they started paying him utill he joined back in Feb 2017.
When he was joining back his treating doctors spoke to his manager requesting to take it slow and give him minimal work. Now while he was there working he was also undergoing treatment and underwent a final surgery after 8months of joining back. Now the work given also was minimal. Later when it was time for a yearly rewiew of the employee he was on bench from March now they are like we don't have a suitable project for him....I guess it will be resignation next. So just need advise from experts on this regarding general policy for people who have medically gone through problems.

Manimajra branch (0172-2730061)
But the amount of Rs. 500/- is not credited to the applicant’s account. On 16.01.2018 I have made a grievance in the O/o Ombudsman, Chandigarh for issue direction to the concerned bank to look into the matter and resolve the financial matter without any delay. After that on 22.01.2018 I have sent another letter to the O/o Ombudsman, Chandigarh to resolve this matter without any delay.
After repeated request on 14.03.2018 the amount Rs. 500/- credited in the applicant’s account.
It is pertinent to mention here that due to deficiency in services of the Indian Overseas Bank the applicant has to suffer a lot and has made various correspondences with the respective banks. On 27.05.2011, Chief General Manager of RBI issued notification No. RBI/2010/11/547 bearing Letter No. DPSS P.D. No. 2632/02.10.002/2010-2011 dated 27.05.2011 addressed to Chairman-cum-Managing Director with the direction to entail payment of Rs. 100/- per day as compensation to the customer complaint if the complaint is not resolved within 7 days on the issue of Reconciliation of failed transactions at ATMs (RBI issued letter Copy enclosed). I have registered complaint on 07.11.2017 by way of online SBI website and a message with above Ticket Number has been received on 15.11.2017 with the intimation to resolve the complaint within 7 working days.
Complaint registered/lodge on 15.11.2017 (Online on SBI website)
Amount Rs. 500/- credited 13.03.2018
Total Days: 118 days
Total Compensated Amount Rs. 118x100= Rs. 11,800/-
According to the above said letter issued by RBI, the delay in resolving the complaint of Reconciliation of failed transactions at ATMs is 118 days and amount of Rs. 11,800/- is credit in the applicant’s account by the concerned bank. But till date Chairman-cum-MD office did not reply to the earlier email and not informed about the latest status position of the matter.
It is therefore, requested kindly direct the concerned bank to follow the directions of RBI because the applicant is entitled to getting compensation of Rs.100 per day if the amount of claim is not credited to the account within seven working days from the date of the complaint in the interest of justice and fair play.
But the bank is not send any acknowledgement, reply. what can I do in this matter.

Dear Sirs,
I worked as a manager with a textile manufacturer in Bangalore from November 2005 to May 2007, resigned and then started my own freelance career. I was a member of the EPF/FP and the employer was depositing my PF/FP contributions to the respective EPFO office in that area. Due to my own fault (call it procrastination), I did not claim my accumulated amount till 2015.
I did not have my PF account number. Therefore I submitted my claim forms duly filled in to my employer's office requesting them to provide the account number and forward the documents to the EPFO in June 2015. But the employer's HR department misplaced the papers. I again resubmitted a fresh application in September 2015. But came to know that the company was closed by then.
Since then I have been following up with them and as advised by their MD I again couriered a fresh application in December 2015 but did not receive any reply. I have been running from pillar to post but since all their staff had left, I tried to take help from a few of their ex HR staff who tried to help me but without success. I am a senior citizen living in Kolkata and I have nobody to turn to for help. Hence I have decided to visit Bangalore next week and contact the Area or Regional office of the PF commissioner for help. But I do not have my provident fund account with me.
Respected sirs, can you please advise me how can I get back my PF money? All I have are my appointment letter and approx. date of leaving the service. Shall be grateful to know the procedure. Looking forward to your kind response,
With regards,
Arun Pratap Chattopadhyay

I am working in a Pvt Bank at a senior level and under performance notice of 3 months. though my performance has improved but my seniors are not convinced.
They have called HR representative for a meeting with me. In this meeting they may ask me to resign with 3 months notice or may terminate my services with immd effect. I do not want to resign and want to take this matter to court as I am being victimised on frivilous grounds and I feel that people who have given performance notice are the decision makers which is against the principles of natural justice.
Can I refuse to sign any document if asked to sign in the meeting be it resignation or any other.
How and when do I need to approach court against any of their orders or notice .
Do I have the right to refuse signing any document in the meeting.
Thanks
