Upto what time we can hire the employees (Both males and females).
I am working in an company which is into executing projects on BOOT basis ( Build Own Operate and Transfer).
In one of the projects we have hired employees through a contractor to execute our project and all these employees are working on the project which is in the premises of the party who has given us the project. In this scenario, in case of Statutory Liability of P.F & E.S.I are we liable to be treated as principle employer. In case yes, Is there a way to get out of it, as the liability is going to be unbearable.

My friend is having a problem in getting his bonus because his company is making an excuse that the act refers to gross salary(and his is greater than 10000) while i have seen companies handing out bonus on basic salary.
Is there any govt. document my friend can show to his company to show that the act refers to basic salary.What can he do? please guide

I am working as an officer in a public sector bank.
I have applied for PL well in advance i.e. more than one month before the start date of the leave.
Despite my repeated follow ups to the approving authority, I did not get any response, till the date of commencement of the leave. I don’t know whether my application is approved or not.
As applied I have proceed on leave under intimation to the authority.
Can my employer treat this as unauthorized absence? Please advice.

Now company wants to create his own trust for the better return to the employees by way of investing the money in some secrities.
Now i want to know that does a company who is form last 10 years adopting the scheme of provident fund can creat his own trust for the betterment of the employees. if yes what is the procedure and which are the legal provisions, Forms etc.
I resigned with the consent of my employer. Now they are not releasing my one month salary, I have enquired from finance dept and I have been told that because of shortage of funds they are unwilling to pay my salary. What should and can I do, please help me out. Its a pvt ltd. company based in Delhi.
I want to know whether, Applicability of Maternity benefits to a women employee is relavent to her service in the organization? Suppose, if the woman has recently joined 3 months back and is under probation, whether she would be applicable to get the maternity benefits?
Also plz let me know, for a woman employee not covered under ESI, maternity leave encashment has to be given on basic salary or gross salary?
