Rules of co-operative societies in india (residential)

Dear Sir/Madam
Im a student of Law and i want to know what are the rules and regulations of a co- operative housing societies as i stay in a co operative housing society and here though there are members being appointed ie. the secretary and all others, there seems breach of duty on behalf of the members towards the society hence the society is not maintained properly but the sinking funds and other maintenance funds are charged very high and even the security guards hired by the society are very negligent on part of their duty ..and besides raising this issue all the time in the society meetings it seems like there has been no difference neither in the society and nor the members ...so my request is that i need such a legal solution(or any other related, coz i being a law student and have no idea how to go through a proper legal way) on this matter that can make this society set onto a proper track ( im from Goa ) thanku

Legal opinion- am i consider as consumer?

* I made an application to Mandal Development Office for some Information under the Right To Information Act 2005. The Public Information Officer not provided the asked information yet. The time period for providing the information has over as per the provisions of the RTI Act 2005.

*. I used the payment mode as the Court Fee Stamp by affixing on the application.(Court Fee stamps are allowed as the fee for RTI Act in our State, Andhrapradesh). Now the Questions are,

Q1. In this case Can I Considered as a Consumer as per the Consumer Act?

Q2 Can I filed the Complaint at our District Consumer Forum?

Q3. What is the Procedure for Filing the Complaint at Consumer Forum? i.e Through Advocate or by Personal?

Q4. What about the fee to be paid to the forum?

Complicated situation in will

Hello,

Scenario: After my first wife's natural death, I have a second wife, daughter (from second wife) and a granddaughter. I want to make a will, if something happens to me, my all money and properties go to my second wife and my granddaughter gets all that inheritably.

I also want to include in the will that I also had a daughter from first wife and she has got all her share already and she doesn't get anything from my money and property after my death. Can someone give me proper format of the will for this scenario please?

Dispute over contest winnings

Hi experts,

Seek your opinion on dispute about a contest winnings.

There was a video contest wherein the contestants had to prepare a 30s ad for the contest organizer. Since there was just one entry allowed per user and I had already exhausted mine, I prepared a video and forwarded it to my friend to apply on my behalf with an agreement (message history on whatsapp) that he would give me the prize if he wins.

As per the rules, once shortlisted the video organizer uploaded the video on YouTube and the person with the maximum likes and comments was to be declared a winner. The video that my friend had sent was shortlisted and the video was uploaded on YouTube, I helped to get around 700+ likes to the video out of the 726 likes and the video was declared a winner.

Now my friend says that he will not be giving the prize to me.

I have the below to suggest that I have prepared the video and sent it to my friend:-

1. Whatsapp message history wherein I told him about the contest and the prize. Also, where he agreed to give the prize to me.
2. E-mail containing the video attachment that I sent to him and which he later forwarded.
3. Website link where I created the video.
4. All the images, sound files etc. that I used to create the video.

Can you please tell me what can be done in this case.

Thanks,
Rahul.
