Does a person with epilepsy require a guardian to receive pension?

Respected Experts,

Father died working as an employee in postal department leaving his only son as his heir. Son, who is a major, has been suffering from epilepsy(Seizure Disorder). Now, the department authorities require the son to approach court and get a guardian appointed for him to receive pension, as he is a disabled person.

My queries are :-

1. Is the procedure suggested by the postal authorities is correct according to law?

2. If so, under what provision of law, appointment of a guardian can be sought for and in which forum?

3. Any other remedy open to the son?

Kindly suggest. It's urgent.

Thanks for reply in advance.

Fir

Hi Everyone,
I know that the meaning of FIR is "First Information Report". My question is
1) How long is the validity of the FIR?
2) Can the culprits close/void the FIR and do something against me in collusion with the police?
Kindly suggest.

Mionr interest

"A" expired leaving behind his wife and minor son. Wife sold A's self acquired property on her own and also on behalf of minor son.
In this case court permission not taken to sell minor's share
In my opinion, restriction (getting prior permission of the court for disposing any immoveable property of a minor) on the natural guardian in respect of property of a minor applies only to the separate or absolute property of the minor and does not include the minor’s undivided share in the joint family property.

Pls advice whether court permission required or not ?

Regards,
Saroja

Land under lease...

Dear Experts of the Forum,

My family gave some land to( Military Estate Officer) Army on lease in the year 1963,under a lease agreement. Lease amount is also been paid till 1987. Now suddenly, the army claims the land (under Lease to ARMY through 'MEO') as their own, citing Inam abolition act condition { as per Act.;One can becomes owner, if he is an occupier of the land (under his position) by constructing building, as on 1-11-1973; but this rule is applicable to only private persons and not, to Govt. organization like INDIAN ARMY}.

High Court of AP, upheld our cliam and denied the claim of INDIAN ARMY('MEO'). But now ('MEO') ARMY is approaching the SUPREME COURT OF INDIA.
Our family is disgusted with this act of ('MEO')INDIAN ARMY.
Please guide us, what should we do?

Thanking You ALL, Expecting an early reply; PLEASE.
