Can a blank signed document be later converted into a promissory note. By affixing the revenue stamp later on and crossing it, without the knowledge of the person signing. And whether the person is bound by the document.

Can a promiser mentioned the date, on or before which he has to pay to the promisee the Amount given to him? I want to stipulate definite time, i.e. on .... date or before 2 years from today, etc. is it possible, or i should resort to some other option than Prom.Note.

Please refer ammendment no notification No. 21/P.O.5/2005/S.92/2005 dated 06/01/2010 under Punjab VAT Act, 2005. Please tell me the meaning of condition 6 given in this ammendment ? Is there any case law on same ?

Respected Experts,
A private finance company granted loan to an individual for purchase of a heavy vehicle. In the loan agreement, there was arbitration clause. As the borrower committed default in payment of monthly instalments,finance company is intending to initiate arbitration proceedings.
My queries are :-
1. Can a petition under Section 9 of Arbitration Act be moved before District Judge's court seeking interim attachment of an immovable property of the borrower for securing the recovery of the award amount that may be passed by Arbitrator in future?
2. If so, does an interim application for the same relief pending disposal of the main Section 9 petition is maintainable?
Pls answer my queries with citations, if any.
I also request you to please provide a format petition. It's very urgent.

Unauthorised trade in my share trading account
Dear Sir,
Recently my stock dealer bought stocks on margin without my confirming the quantity, price or exchange on which to buy the shares. Subsequently the share price came down substantially and hence I am being asked to bear the loss. I had asked the dealer over phone to buy whatever was possible on the funds available but he interpreted it to be whatever was possible on margin also. He also did not ask me the quantity to be bought. In this context can you please guide what remedy do I have. Does sebi give any code of conduct for method of taking orders.
I am in deep trouble. Kindly help
