I'm a member of Group Medi claim policy taken by my employer from National Insurance Co.Ltd.The sum assured w.r.t me is Rs.2 lacs.(b) In July,2015 I was operated for Cataract surgery( left eye) at Centre for Eyesight, Roop Netralaya,Meerut,by Dr.Roop,M.D(Opthal)AIIMS Delhi.Regd.no.5095. This surgery was done by Femto procedure & while processing my claim Genins India TPA Ltd.has deducted Rs. 47,500 & stated that as per Insurance Co.instructions Femto procedure charges are not payable.I have lodged a complaint to Grievance cell,Divisional office, Dehradun, stating that in the Mediclaim policy issued to the employer there are no maximum limit of reimbursement/payment of treatment of eye surgery & it is not mentioned anywhere that the charges regarding the payment of the procedure of Femtosecond laser for the removal of the Cataract will not be allowed/not be claimable. Please advise.R.Dayal

Dear Sir/Mam,
I was granted an education loan of Rs 3,99,000 in the year 2009 which now became 8lakhs. After completion of my course I had to struggle hard for Job. I got job after 9 months with a payment of Rs 8000 only. I requested(in written) my bank to extend repayment period for few years so that installment amount get reduced and within my payment capacity. Bank manager replied he will forward it & inform me. After few months I made the same request but he said he will inform me once its approved.Unfortunately an year back I had to leave my job as I am suffering Liver Fibrosis 4th stage and is on rest, can't even travel without someone as nausia & pain starts anytime. A few days back I got a letter from bank stating if I fail to repay full amount within 10 days they will take legal actions against me, they had already reported to CIBIL. Please guide me to take right step in this situation and let me know what legal steps canbe taken against me

I had joined a company after my retirement from Govt service i.e., after attaining 60 years. I joined the company as a liaison head and monthly EPF of RS.9500 was deducted for a period of seven months. later on due to audit objections my designation was changed as consultant and from that date onwards the EPF deduction was stopped. can the EPF so far deducted be rejected for payment on these grounds? if so under what provisions? if not, how can I go about it to get the refund? please advise me.

Dear experts,
I am attached to a nationalized bank. One of our Borrower ,a partnership firm converted themselves to a private limited Company without the consent /NOC from bank. As the account was classified as NPA Bank is preparing for filing OA in DRT. After receipt of Legal notice from the bank the erstwhile partners and present directors resigned from the company.Bank is preparing to make both the partners and the company defendant.
Now the issue is as the partners have resigned as directors of the company will it create any complication .
An NBFC amongst other business interest is also in the business of offering loans against mortgage of gold jewellery at 70% of its value at interest rates prevalent at that point of time. Now that the value of gold is sliding down they have asked customers to renew their gold loan by paying up a part of the loan advanced to bring the loan at par with current gold prices. In other words, loan to value. They have cited RBI regulations but have not provided any documentary evidence. They are refusing to accept the interest on the gold loan taken since the last 3 months till part-payment of the loan is made. That means compounded interest along with part-payment will need to be paid. They enjoyed interest at higher rates when gold prices were high; and now when gold prices are down they want customers to liquidate a part of their gold loan. Such loans are taken to tide over an emergency. Please let me know the legal position ?
