Please clarify

My father in law has divided his agricultural property in his 4 sons on 2004-05 and my husband (who is 3rd son)deceased on 2010, i got my husband's one portion property transferred in my name in the year 2014-15 and another in the year 2016-17, But my father in law and brother in laws has filed a case initially stating not to transfer in my name and whole property has to be transferred in my son's name ( now 14 years ) only when he attends major. and the properties which was in my husband's name has to be without any one's name. But in Tahashildar court, i got the property transferred in my name.

Now again my father in law has filed a case in AC court Madikeri giving the same reason.

i want to know weather the AC court will cancel my name in katha

I don't want to enter my son' until he attends majority.

My in laws are creating problems by filing case, they may even go for civil court and higher courts, for the same i am suffering mentally and financially. Is there any law where i can seek protection.

Deposing by our witness

Dear experts, I shall be much thankful for your valued opinion/guidance please.

(1) We purchased a plot some time back from “A” when in Delhi transactions could be done through POA and now the party “A” is no more. We have been running a school there since 1999.

(2) Party “B”[lured by greed by the present property scenario] who are heirs of "A" challenged the transaction saying it is a forged document.

(3) A witness “W”who was present when the transaction took place already deposed by way of affidavit in our favour.

(4) Advocate of “B” called the witness “W” for examination-in chief. “W” does not know English. THE CONTENTS WERE NOT EXPLAINED TO HIM IN HINDI THE LANGUAGE KNOWN TO HIM. He signed the English version thinking it to be what he had answered.

(5) When we saw the copy of disposition and explained to him, he said he never admitted such things. OUR ADVOCATE DID NOT EXPLAIN TO HIM NOR MADE ANY PROTEST IN THE COURT AT THAT TIME. It seems he ditched us.

QUERY:
IS THERE AN APPROPRIATE REMEDY?
Whether the “W” can be cross-examined by us/ADVOCATE.
Applicable provisions of Evidence Act may be cited.

Thank you once again for collective wisdom.

Bank charged 1% less, recovery in compounded interest

I took an educational loan which has mostly been repayed over the period of six years.

Initially my parents took care of interest payments for for years of my education. Then I started repaying it after completion of my studies and it took me six years to finish it. Few months before it was supposed to be finished bank charges recovery of 49000 as they charged me 1% less.

If they had charged it as simple interest then amount would have been around 10k but they charged compound interest from back date.

Am I in the wrong to expect that they should have charged simple interest for their mistake? Are the any previous similar cases where court decided in the favour of customer?
