If an advocate on the roll of State bar has paid professional tax upto 2017 and has taken employment in a Company and Company keeps it on its payroll and deducts professional tax, and that advocate tells the company to show his paid challan and certificate of Prof Tax if upon enquiry by the Prof Tax department. Then can the Prof Tax department tell the bar council that an advocate is employed in company and can bar council take action against that advocate. That advocate has not informed the bar about taking full time employment. The advocate is employed by way of appointment letter as Sr.Officer legal.

A flat was sold and within 2 years from the date of sale,full-price was made for purchase of another flat. However, the new flat is still under construction. The price paid for the said flat was higher than the sale-proceeds of the old flat.
Will there be any liability for payment of Capital Gains Tax?

Respected,
Experts
I want to pass on information to income tax deptt. against my one of our neighbour ,who have gathered huge black money & possess dis-proportionate wealth against their known souces of income . The said persons are hoarders, land grabbers and also have huge benaami properties and who are very rude with everybody .
As a law abiding citizen, I request for the procedure and information by which I can highlight their misdeeds to income tax deptt.

Hello Sir, Thanks fo your valuable time.
My father had purchased a plot in Bangalore city in year 1993. However he was never aware that property tax needs to be paid on plot of land also. Recently I realised it and spoke to an official of Bangalore Muncipality(BBMP) on telephone and sent copies of the plot to him, who informed me that now I would need to pay fine/ penalty over delay of payment of propety tax from 1993 to 2012 @ 2% per month. My Question--Do we have to pay penalty on non-payment of tax for 19 yrs ( I approached the officials of BBMP first, and no notice/demand for payment ever issued on the plot till date by BBMP ). Is there any other way to avoid the penalty as it is a very huge amount. Also from which year did govt. implement penalty on non-payment of property tax Thanks George

Dear Sir,
I have booked a flat in Pune in july 2010. my flat cost is Rs.4500000. i paid Rs 2500000 to the builder upto Oct 2010.Remaining amount I paid after oct 2010. But the builder charged the service tax and Vat on entire amount.Recently I read in the newspaper that the service tax is applicable only on the amount paid to the builder after Oct 2010.I asked Builder about that. But he is not at all listening. he asked me to bring the government notification copy. Please guide me.
Thanks and regards.
Sammy.
