I am newly join this profession (lawyer of Orissa High Court) I want to file E-TDS file but I don’t know the procedure. When I check at net I know that for E-filing there need a ID.
My question is how can I file by E-file procedure?
How can I get that ID? What is the procedure for that ID?

For E filing you need to have a PAN number and first register your PAN number on the efiling site of Income tax. The option you would select is new user that would guide you to the registration. Once registered you can complete the excel utility available on the icome tax site and then create a XML and upload your return. The process is simple but ay take time when you do it first time.
