My dad had 25*80site 4floors constructed and rental income also to make some extent less in BBMP tax what can be done Shall we divide the property among 4bros and pay tax or pay tax in dad name itself which is most effective

My dad had 25*80 sqft after his demise and it has to be divided to 4person I.e children's. Which way will reduce BBMP property tax
1. Paying full size measurements as complete in father name itself
2. Dividing the property in to 4and paying tax sepearte kindly suggest

Tds rate under dtaa between uae & india on nri property sale

DEAR SIRS,

AN NRI WANTS TO SELL HIS PROPERTY IN INDIA WHICH HAS BEEN HELD BY HIM
FOR MORE THAN FIVE YEARS. IN NORMAL CIRCUMSTANCES, THE RATE OF TDS WOULD
BE 20% UNDER SECTION 195 OF THE I. TAX ACT. HOWEVER, THE NRI WANTS TO KNOW WHETHER A MORE BENEFICIAL TDS RATE IS AVAILABLE UNDER DTAA BETWEEN UAE AND INDIA..

Ptec cancellation_maharashtra

Hi,

I want to cancel PTEC of proprietor(1st case) as well as partners of LLP(2nd case). What is the procedure to do the same. I can see online cancellation of PTRC after I login into mahagst website. However PTEC of partners or proprietors is not available online.

Pls advice on the procedure of the same.

Before Lock down I had purchased free hold residential plot with in nagar nigam limits.but intend to build after one year hence,question is would I have to pay house tax for vacant plot ,second will the area circle rate be also applicable on open/vacant plot?
