There is a spelling error in the name in the sale deed. The land was sold to my father about 30 years ago. There is a spelling error of 1 letter (M instead if N). The name is correct in RTC document. The seller of he land is not in contact. Would it possible to get it corrected ?

Hi,
I wanted to enquire about procuring marriage certificate. We got married in Ghaziabad on 15th Feb'2010, my wife is from Ghaziabad and I am from Delhi. Due to job requirements, we have to move out from Delhi and for last 2 years we are now staying in Mumbai. I want to know if it is possible to get marriage certificate from Mumbai or do we have to go to Delhi to get it? We got married as per Hindu norms and both of us are Hindus. My wife's maiden name is Agarwal and she is still using that name, I don't want her to change her last name. My surname is Oberoi.
Would appreciate if anyone can help me in this matter. If it is possible to get it done from Mumbai/Navi Mumbai then do let me know as we need to get this done urgently.
Regards,
Sandeep Oberoi
Can a certified copy of sale deed be misused when original is safe
I am buying a flat and just wanted to cross check the documents (photo copy of sale deed) given by the seller, I approached a local lawyer and he asked me that he will verify the same and also provide me the certified copy of sale deed from registrar office.
I just want to know can a middle man misuse the certified documents and what could be the severity of misuse of the certified copies if original is with the seller. What can be done to avoid the misuse.
