Barter laws

Hi,

I am a businessman and I would like to understand the barter laws of india. like what are the charges if we do a transaction legally if any. are there any service tax etc how will you measure that since your not taking any money but just exchanging good

Presently No exclusive law regarding barter deals has come to notice. The transaction has to be expressed in terms of Rupees for taxation purposes.
