Bail condition relaxation

(Querist) 20 September 2012 This query is : Resolved
I am a UK NRI stuck here for close to a year. I lost my job. My AB has travel restrictions. Chargesheet has finally be filed, and I would like to go back to UK.

Should I file a regular bail application or pray for relaxation of conditions on my AB itself?
Devajyoti Barman (Expert) 21 September 2012
Yes do it immediately. After the filing of charge sheet there is hardly any chance of restrictions anymore.
Even restrictions of traveling abroad should have been removed much earlier.

Approach same court for lifting the condition of bail . Once bail is granted ,regular bail before the Trial court is only a formality

file for regular bail in same court so that travel restrn imposed hitherto fore are removed

Travel restriction condition may not has been ordered only up to filing chargesheet, the reason behind that may be u after going uk u can avoid ur presentation in court in trial, so try to convince the court that u will abideby the court procedures
