Apartment owners association

Sir
I am living at Ahmedabad in an apartment which is not a co-op society but Apartment Owners Association, a Non Trading Organization by definition. Since long I had submitted application for transfer of my deceased fathers’ half share in my favor by virtue of his WILL. They have not bothered to reply. Apart from this since long I am repeatedly asking them in writing to give me copies of documents pertaining to my flat with them. They are still not responding at all .Is there any higher authority as far as such Apartment Owners Association is concerned? Are they covered under RTI? As far as I know as an entity they are long since unrecognized by government and are no more allowed. In such case do they have any authority to consent or give a NOC for transfer of any members flat if it is sold by a registered document to a purchaser? In my case what should I do if they do not give me copies of document requested by me? They had given copies of similar documents to another member in recent past but I am deliberately ignored.

Answer: You said copies given to another MEMBER.

YOU ARE NOT A MEMBER of Association.

Do you have probate of WILL?
You can move Civil Court. U CAN APPLY FOR MEMBERSHIP OF ASSOCIATION, THEN DEMAND .
