Agricultural land law in ap

(Querist) 06 December 2012 This query is : Resolved 
As in some of state(ie karnataka,maharastra etc) only a farmer background person can buy agricultural land. In Andhra , can a non-farmer background person buy agricultural land as per current law

There is no such restriction in AP. Non-agriculturist can purchase agricultural land in Andhra Pradesh.
