Advocate changed under which provision?

(Querist) 01 December 2009 This query is : Resolved
Kasab's lawyer has been changed.can any learned member tell me under which act and provision the magistrate is empowered to do so. And also whether accused can object such an order?
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 01 December 2009
under Code of Conduct described in Advocates Act, 1961.

The counsel for the Kasab was found in telling lie on oath and was even chances to withdraw his false and fabricated personal claims but he kept on insisting and on the basis of a thorough enquiry, the court, which had appointed him to look after the case on behalf of Kasab was removed. He was not appointed by Kasab rather Court had appointed him and withdrew him finding him ineligible to do his job as per code of conduct.
