Whether plaintiff instituted suit for declaration that he has become owner by adverse possession ?

No. A person who has acquired ownership by adverse possession cannot file a suit for declaration that he has become owner as such. He has no right to initiate to declare that he is the owner but only when his ownership is challenged, he can establish that he has acquired ownership by adverse possession.
