Adjournment before family court due to job reasons

Ld counsels,

Will there any issue if I an adjourment was sought for 3 months since the one of the party had to travel abroad due to job reasons. The employer really wants the party to travel.

Will previous absense before the court be considered to give the relief of adjournment.

Please clarify.

It depends on the court, it may grant or not grant the adjournments.

Dear Querists,

As already advised, the reasons for adjournment would largely depend on various factors like previous adjournment taken, if any, grounds of so taken, current ground for adjournment, conduct of the party seeking adjournment and at what stage of the proceeding is and finally the discretion of the Judge whether or not to grant adjournment.

Why go for adjounment , there are various other methods to get the case prolonged.

Study the case and all the papers of both sides and there can be multiples of applications can be moved which till decided you need not appear , your advocate can attend.
