This query is : Resolved
A person I know has been caught while there was a riot and police caught him while he was not the part of riot. He was heading back to his home but in the way caught by police and with some sources I found police may use IPC-147, 148, 149, 332, 353, 436, 336, 395, 397
Can he get bail? How can he be free?
PS: He was not the part of riots or something and he was returning home.
The only way is to file Bail application and convince the Hon'ble judge on proper and acceptable grounds. All the best.

Strange question, "how to produce legitimate and proper ground"!
How a third person other than the affected person can predict, what would have been the legitimate grounds to bail himself out. It yours is a real problem, you may better discuss the case in detail with a local lawyer about what exactly happened and how and in what circumstances he was caught.
If you don't know the legitimate ground that gives an ample indication that it is your academic query, not a real problem.
