Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 20 April 2010 This query is : Resolved

IS IT POSSIBBLE TO REVOKE RELEASE DEED,FOR RELINQUISHING RIGHTS IN PARENTAL PROPERTY, IF YES, THEN WHAT IS THE PROCESS.....? ALSO, IS THERE ANY TIME LIMITATION FOR REVOKEING RELEASE DEED....?
R.R. KRISHNAA (Expert) 20 April 2010
Any deed once executed cannot be later revoked unless there is a clause in the deed which expressly confers rights to revoke the deed on certain situations.
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 20 April 2010
The terms of deed can become the basis of revokation or if the deed was based upon some nullity then the deed stands revokated with mutual consent.
B K Raghavendra Rao (Expert) 20 April 2010
Under normal circumstances, a release deed cannot be revoked. If such revocation is permitted, then each and every one at his convenient time would revoke the release deed. This is not permissible under law.
