police delaying in investigations

(Querist) 05 February 2013 This query is : Resolved
Even after directions from the court the police is not investigating the matter and intentionally delaying the same since more than a year has passed. Can I approach SSP / DGP if an early action be taken by the investigating officer. Although the FIR was lodged with full evidences and proof. Kindly advice some good remedy so that investigating officer may investigate the matter and put up before the court.

First the police had submitted cancellation report due to jurisdiction. Anyhow the court did not accept the cancellation report and directed the police to investigate the matter accordance with law. Since the directions for reinvestigations were given to police almost 8 months back, inspite of this police is not investigating and delaying intentionally. Whenever the investigating officer is requested regarding FIR he replies that they shall go for investigations and thereupon the same shall be transferred. Kindly advice how early investigations can be requested to police since I am also receiving threading calls from persons whom I have lodged FIR.

You move an application before the same court and seek direction to remind the police to file its report. Court has full power to watch the investigation as per direction of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India as per famous case of Basu.
Adv Raj (High Court) (Expert) 06 February 2013
