Dear Experts, I would like to know if a WILL written on a plain sheet of paper and not on judicial stamp paper, but duly witnessed by 2 persons will be valid and legally binding on all the parties. Whether the same will be taken cognizance of by the court? Thanks in advance Pramod

Will is not required to be on a judicial stamp paper. And the will that you mentioned would stand valid. It has to be probated in certain states for it to take effect.

Will always drafted on plain paper and got registration, which is not mandatory but always better to get registration. It is binding on all the parties.
