Good morning everyone,
I recently canceled my admission to my college because of some financial hardships faced. UGC had released guidelines in September 2020, regarding the fee refund policy when the student's admission is canceled. The college management is not responding and saying that there will be no refund of the fee paid. What shall I do? Please help me with this.

If the refusal is against the guidelines issued, issue notice for rcovery through councel

Have you asked the refund in writing?

Whether same was refused through letter and is against the guidelines?

When the admission was taken and paid the fees?

One of the reasons may be that UGC guidelines are after the date of cancellation of the admission / the college may have provided classes till that date.
