Two identities.....!?!

a person i know having two Identities means
one passport with 'x' name and with '19xx' date of birth and second with 'y' name with '19yy' name. how can i inform the indian authorities or this is common in india and nothing can be done?

You bring this to the notice of the concerned police station and the passport authority as well.

The question arises, how the Police verified two different identites of the same persons, which is done before issue of the passport.

However, if you have a solid proof with you about that you can report the matter to the Passport Officer. But in that case you will have to quote the Passport numbers of both the Passports for reference and reconciliation by the passport Office. The person bearing two different passports with some fake identity can be legally punished.

yes you have to first collect the proof of both the passports and than inform the police as well as passport authorities

Particulars of passport are not necessary. Passport office will take care of it. You just write to the nearest passport office with available particulars.

Dear Learned friends, not only that, woman can take different shape and look and with this new identity if she had affairs with a man who do not know her real identity, will it amount to adultery?

Mr. Dhingra has given elaborate reply. It is an offence to have two such passports. Follow Mr. Dhingra's advise.

Let me clarify again.... That person is having a passport and pan card with different names and date of births..
That person is also having bank accounts on both names....

I have all proofs incliding the person who helped

i went to.police but they said investigat two months now no use..

How long it will take to investigate.? Or being lazy?
