I am working in a BPO company in Karnataka. As the work has gone down, they are removing employees. I have been called for a meeting: 1. Is it better to resign or get terminated? 2. Which documents do I collect at the time of resignation? 3. Which documents should I not submit at the time of resignation? 4. What precautions should I take while signing any letter of resignation/termination given by the company? 5. Any other information useful for a smooth transit to a new job.

read terms and conditions of your appointment letter . does it mention company shall give you 3 months pay in case of termination from employment . check the offer that company is offering and take call accordingly . inquire from company when they will give you relieving letter and settling your account
