My cousin brother used fake sc certificate and got admission in iit Bombay. My uncle also made sc certificate in legal way but he belongs to general category. I have no proof. Can I use rti . But which department. What is punishment for fake certificate of sc. Can I directly complaint to iit Bombay or ask for rti

Submitt RTI before educational institution asking details of caste of your cousin and obtain a copy of the caste certificate submitted by him. That will have the details of issuing authority. Then you may Lodge a complaint with issuing authority and if your complaint is proved correct the issuing authority may prosecute the delinquent.
