What is the stamp duty required for the registered rent agreement in uttar pradesh?

Any formula?

monthly rent=5000Rs.

No of years=2

PleASE LET ME KNOW THE ADVANTAGE OF REGISTERING THE RENT AGREEMENT.

Is it safe to take money through tenent through cheque?

Is it safe to give a rent receipt to the tenant?

Actually we have given our vacant plot on rent.

Any help would be appreciated.

In U.P., the stamp duty is One hundred and twenty five rupees (provided that the duty payable shall be rounded of to the next multiple of ten rupees) for a consideration equal to three times the amount or value of the average annual rent reserved. for draft deed, contact a local lawyer who have sufficient knowledge in drafting the deeds. the other conditions as both parties (owner and tenant) mutually agreed.
