share of granddaughter in grandmothers property

(Querist) 22 June 2010 This query is : Resolved
sir
my grandmother hd 3 sons .my fther n 2 chachas.the eldest chcha is very cunning and greedy.
my granny died in hospital on 5 nov 1992 and my chacha made a will on the 1 of nov in the hospital..
in the will he has done all the properties of amma in his name n a few in my others chachas name..bt has not even mentioned my fathers name anywhere.sir i am the eldest granddaughter of the house.he has not even written mine or my brothers name anywhr.
my chacha has no kids .he has an adopted child.in the will he has kept something or the other in the name of this adopted child and all the other kids of the family(my buas kids names are also there)
only me my father and my brother are left out.my granny had a lot of property and a lot of gold.
sir i want to clarify on these points
1. the will is unregistered and is on a
plain sheet of paper
2. there are witness but they are my grannys brother and sis.(is sign of blood relation valid)
3. though she was in the hospital(deathbed) at that time ,,there is no sign of any doctor on the will.
4. the sign of amma is only on the last page of will(will is 2 pages long)
5. we doubt that the will is in the handwriting of chacha(the will is totally in his favour)

As the daughter of the house can i challenge this will and if i do what are the chances of winnning the case.
pls guide

Let your father challange the Will. If your grandmother was not in a fit state of mind to make the Will due to her illness, such a Will can definately be challanged.
