Dear Sirs,

Is anticipatory bail usually granted in a section 498A case? If a family seeks anticipatory bail, will it cast a suspicion on their behaviour towards their daughter in law? Thanks.

If base fr the anticipatory bail exists then definitely it is provided under section 498A also and granting or demanding of bail shall not slur any blot on the family/persons involved therein.

Anticipatory bail is granted by judiciary after realising the facts of the case. It can not be said that anticipatory bail is granted generally.It differs from facts to facts.
Secondly There is not any effect on final decision of anticipatory bail.
