registration of orphanage

Dear sir/Madam,
Would you get me clarify under what provision of law or Act the Orphanage has to be registered ?

you must form a society/chariable trust & get it registered under the Societies Registration Act or if there is any public charitable trust act in existence in your state then you can get it registered under that act also. but the major registration is getting a certificate from the Board constituted under Orphanages and other Charitable Homes (supervision and control) Act, 1960 but please do check for state amendmends.
running an orphanage without certificate is a criminal offence.

Dear Manish,
Thanks for your reaply, though I had an idea that Orphanages are Registered under socities Registration Act but I have no idea about Board constituted under Orphanages and other Charitable Homes (supervision and control) Act, 1960.It is a valuable sugestion.
