Registration in bar council

Myself is a government employee. I completed my LL.B. after taking prior permission from my department in 2009. My question is that "Can I register myself with state bar council even being retaining in Govt. Service?" I have lernt that there is some provision in Bar Council that registration can be done but it is suspended till I am in Government service. Someone has done this.

Please guide

No, if you register at Bar, you would need to resign.

Without resign from your current service, you can not enroll in state bar council.
